https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Print_Wikipedia Print Wikipedia is an art project by Michael Mandiberg that printed 106 of the 7,473 volumes of English Wikipedia as it existed on April 7, 2015. Die ganze deutschsprachige Wikipedia auszudrucken und zu binden, ergäbe sehr viele Bände. Um genau zu sein: Derzeit wären es 3406. Das hat Michael Mandiberg herausgefunden, ein US-amerikanischer Künstler. Er hat alle deutschsprachigen Wikipedia-Artikel in eine Buchvorlage verwandelt und einhundert Bände davon gedruckt. Die restlichen Bücher sind im Berliner Projektraum Import Projects als Fototapete an die Wand geklebt. Zusammen ergeben sie die Ausstellung "Print Wikipedia: from Aachen to Zylinderdruckpresse", die an diesem Samstag für Besucher eröffnet. Mandibergs Werk zeigt: Auf Bücherregalen aufgereiht, würde die deutschsprachige Wikipedia ein ganzes Zimmer füllen. An drei hohen Altbauwänden würden die Regale bis kurz unter die Decke reichen, vollgestopft mit Bänden von A wie Aachen über MAM wie Mammutbäume bis UNF wie Unfallforschung. Allein die Artikel zur DDR erstrecken sich über drei Bände, fast alles wird dokumentiert, etwa die "DDR-Oberliga (Badminton)". Insgesamt umfasst die deutsche Wikipedia fast zwei Millionen Artikel, weltweit sind es 37 Millionen. Gigabyte-Angaben sind abstrakt, Bücher sind konkret. 3406 Bände sind beeindruckend und überschaubar zugleich. Ein ganzer Raum voller Menschheitswissen, Stand März 2016. Das Projekt sei Kunstwerk und Datenvisualisierung zugleich, sagt Mandiberg. (201605)

  • Paperkey - an OpenPGP key archiver by David Shaw. Due to metadata and redundancy, OpenPGP secret keys are significantly larger than just the "secret bits". In fact, the secret key contains a complete copy of the public key. Since the public key generally doesn't need to be escrowed (most people have many copies of it on various keyservers, web pages, or similar), only archiving the secret parts can be a real advantage. Paperkey extracts just those secret bytes and prints them. A reasonable way to achieve a long term backup of OpenPGP (GnuPG, PGP, etc) keys is to print them out on paper. Paper and ink have amazingly long retention qualities - far longer than the magnetic or optical means that are generally used to back up computer data. (2007-2018)

ich habe mich mit QR- und Datamatrix beschäftigt. Gebe jetzt erstmal auf. Anbei ein Testprogramm, darin habe ich meine bisher gefundenen Probleme aufgeführt.
      
Vielleicht weißt Du Rat. Eigentlich bin ich jetzt ganz scharf, ein vernünftiges Verfahren zu haben.
      
Übrigens: Die Datendichte mit QR oder DMTX ist nicht so hoch wie bei Paperbak... das Thema legen wir erstmal zur Seite.
